A mid-winter stretch of spring-like weather added a whole new dimension to the already broad set of activities to choose from in North Lake Tahoe. The Lake Tahoe region made a notable showing with multiple top ten awards in the recent USA Today 10 Best Reader's Choice Awards announced Friday, February 12th including a "#1 Best Ski Resort" award for Palisades Tahoe |Alpine Meadows, a "#1 Best Ski Destination" for South Lake Tahoe and a #3 in the 'Best Ski Town' for Truckee.
