Join local Historian Dave Long for a free public presentation on the role of fish hatcheries and sport fishing in the Lake Tahoe basin. Come explore a mysterious legacy that has helped drive the economy, shape the ecosystem of the lake, and find out what historic figures played their part along the way. This talk will be at the UC Davis Field Station, a beautiful building that, in fact, was once a hatchery! All are welcome
