 ACTRA (American Cowboys Team Roping Association) is the largest non profit team roping organization in the United States. It was founded in 1983 and has chapters in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Canada (British Columbia), Wyoming, Arizona, Utah and Montana. ACTRA is owned by its members and run by its members.

The ACTRA National Finals Team Rodeo is held at the Reno Sparks Livestock Events Center, in the Main Arena and Rodeo. In addition to 8 days of team roping, there will be vendors and a western Art Show.  For more information and the competition schedule, check out their website at actra.org
