After a 20+ year hiatus, boat racing is coming back to the City of Sparks!
The outboard hydroplanes and flat-bottomed runabouts will be churning it up at the beautiful Sparks Marina. You will see drivers from 9 years old running stock hydroplanes at 40mph to adults skimming the water at speeds close to 100mph. Racers are coming from the entire west coast, including CA, AZ, WA and OR. Come and gather around the lake to see two days of thrills, speed, and roostertails. This is a FREE spectator event and will be sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association. Get there early for best parking and viewing.
